Fashion show Project Runway is getting some country in its boots this coming season. Miranda Lambert will appear on an upcoming episode as a guest judge.
Although Miranda isn’t the first country artist to join the set (Faith Hill appeared in 2010), she is bound to have some great ideas and feedback for the designers. After all, she’s already opened her own personalized retail shop, the Pink Pistol, which has been a growing success since doors opened November 23.
The new season of Project Runway premieres January 24 at 9pm ET on Lifetime. It’s unclear which episode Miranda will appear on as of now, but with any luck, maybe the contestants will even make Miranda an outfit to wear–perhaps on tour, or even at an upcoming awards show. We’ll have to tune in to find out.
Other guests on the upcoming season include Bette Midler, Susan Sarandon, John Legend, and Joan and Melissa Rivers.
